In a relatively short space of time, Talik has built a reputation as one of the most distinctive of the new breed of UK electronic music innovators.

Brooding, richly textured, and intricately polyrhythmic, Talik's unique style has caught attention from the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs & Marie Montexier. She's also been championed by Martyn, who's become both a mentor and a friend - releasing her music on his label 3024 label and remixing 'Cold Silver' from her debut EP on Intercept Records.

As a longstanding member of the CF family, Talik's debut on the label feels long overdue, but this collection is well worth the wait. Deep, percussive and snarling, with a powerful low end emphasis, the release taps into a rich vein of bass music heritage with a fresh new take.

Rounding off this impressive 4 tracker, Intercept label mate French II joins on remix duties, bringing the BPMs up for an explosive 160 rework of 'Wood & Water'. Essential CF tackle!
