Control Freak are proud to present the debut EP from Memory Play - the new alias and alter ego of Jo Kašpar, co-founder and resident of Bristol's forward-thinking label and party series Dialogue.

After several years writing and performing as one half of duo ASTRYD, Jo's new project sees them turn towards more personal, intimate and conceptual explorations. The result is a trio of bold, technoid soundscapes - with an emphasis on intricate, detailed sound design. A high high-octane and visceral performer, Memory Play's live sets push their machines and audience to breaking point.

Honed during a three-month writing residency and a series of explosive live performances across Japan in 2022, this EP is a first glimpse inside the world of a hugely talented young artist.
